Queen Warrior
You see my face. I live with my wounds. I have no shame about them. I show them to you because Your wounding helps to show you the way. You run away from your wounds. You want to hide them. You hide them with shame. NO! This is not the way. You are wounded by your mothers. They, too, try to hide their wounds. They, too, hold their wounds with shame. Because of the wounding to the Motherline – women have been taught to hide the scars – that they are bad. When a mother embraces her scars, the daughter does not carry them in shame. The daughter grows up free to explore, not bound by the chains of perfectionism and self-loathing. When the mother knows her wounding, she knows when to find help for her daughter, how to embrace love from other sources. If you are carrying the wounds of your mother, give them to Me. I will hold them with love and compassion. I want you to be free to explore and to love and to trust. You cannot do this if you carry another’s wounding. Dear Red Madonna daughters, walk into the dark places of your hearts together. Wear your scars with compassion. Help each other to see how the scars guide you on your spiritual path. |
